[ he lets out a breath that's more growl than sigh, but he stops pacing at least. ]

Oh, I never put that on any of the paperwork.

[ Firmly. It's not like Aziraphale has to feel bad about circumventing Hell's bureaucracy. ]

You needn't see much of her, anyway, I wouldn't think. If anything, this may mean they really are going to leave you strictly alone.

[ he perks up a little ]

I say. Perhaps you're really, officially... unemployed.

Sure, I mean, we knew that already. And now also unhoused.

We didn't really know, though, did we? I mean, we didn't get any kind of formal agreement. We just guessed. And hoped.

[ Aziraphale may have seen Beelzebub nod along to the idea of leaving Crowley alone, but it was hardly a contract or any real assurance. Not that this is either, but he's warming to his subject regardless. ]

But sending a replacement seems... more concrete, if you see what I mean. Could be taken as encouraging. And of course it's a shame about your flat, but... you could always stay here, you know, on those occasions when you need a place to hang your hat. Or dark glasses.
